Case Study

In 2022 working with a major solar energy company we launched a 5-year pilot project to maximize carbon sequestration under solar panels at a large solar energy facility in Virginia.

Working with an international team we have developed a vegetation carbon capture mix composed of inexpensive and easy to source ingredients that can be top-dressed or incorporated into the soil using shallow tillage.

We implemented a rigorous soil sampling and testing program — including control plots — to measure changes in soil properties.
