Why attend?
This project represents a collaborative effort to restore over 500 miles of river habitat by modifying the historic Rapidan Mill Dam, a change that could bring back native fish like the American shad and support the health of our local ecosystem. Launched by Rapidan Institute through the Rapidan Partnership, this initiative brings together community members and local, state, and federal partners — including the US Fish and Wildlife Service, NOAA, American Rivers, Virginia DWR, and Friends of the Rappahannock — in a shared vision of ecological restoration with national significance.

Agenda

We value your input and look forward to a respectful dialogue about the restoration and future of the Rapidan River.

Kind regards,
The RFPP Team
